Sunbury Street

This project involved a full exterior repaint on this art deco styled roughcast home that was built in 1942. Since 1942 this property has been owned by three woman owners, the latest Mrs Guthrie had the house previously painted in 2000 (20 years ago!).

Needless to say the house required a lot of preparation, but as you can see by the photos the property is now returned to its former glory front and centre in Sunbury Street.

The main feature of this project was the front corner elevation that showcases the art deco styling of the property.

This has been highlighted by the period correct coloursheme that has been used on the project.

The lipstick red band around the top really emphasises the beautiful curve of the front elevation.

Our client is over the moon with the meticulous and thorough preparation that has left her home as a real gem of the street.

This is actually the second time Sims & Blue Limited has painted this property, previously having completed the work back in the 1980's.
