Beyond The Brush - Training

Ashley Harris MPNZ Apprentice of the Year
Ashley Harris MPNZ Apprentice of the Year

In 2022, we proudly celebrated our esteemed apprentice, Ashley Harris, as the recipient of the prestigious "Apprentice of the Year" award. This accolade exemplifies the exceptional quality of our apprenticeship program.

During our time, we have successfully trained and mentored 93 apprentices, with the next four already undergoing training. Our ultimate objective is to reach an impressive milestone of training 100 apprentices. We are enthusiastic about this growth and eager to support the next generation of talented individuals.

Richard Hambleton, our first apprentice, remains integral to our community. He continues to reside in Mosgiel, actively engaged in his leisurely pursuit of playing lawn bowls.

Sims & Blue is committed to fostering talent, empowering individuals, and shaping futures. Join us in our journey as we embrace the next generation of apprentices and strive towards excellence together.
