Albion Cricket Club, Australasia's Oldest Continuous Cricket Club, is a place close to our hearts here at Sims & Blue Ltd. Our task over the cooler months was to rejuvenate the clubrooms ready for a long summer of cricket in the near future.
The building was washed down to remove all atmospheric contaminants, followed by repainting of the blockwork walls, timber windows and doors, and then repainting of the club crest and signwriting.
Colours were matched and brightened up, and the result is a fantastic home that Albion can be proud of.
More than just a cricket club, Albion is part of New Zealand Cricket history producing over 25 international players and holding the record of being Australasia's Oldest Continuous Cricket Club! Should you get the chance take a step inside where you will find the walls adorned with cricketing history, something very special indeed.
