Pukehiki Community Church

This project was very special. Our task was to breathe new life into this historic Otago Peninsula landmark. All the timber beams and rafters were totally stripped of the brown paint that was applied as part of the previous upgrades back in the early 1990's. A time consuming task, but one that was worth every minute! Along with a fresh coat to the T&G walls and ceiling, and we think she looks pretty sharp!

The Church now oozes character. It is warm and inviting, and ready to face the next 150+ years!

In a funny coincidence, it was actually Sims & Blue Limited who were involved in the previous 1990's renovations and painted all those beams brown! Isn't it interesting how times change!!
